Happy Easter!

Small surprises this morning at about 7am when little bears woke up.  At least the sun was shiny and bright making us feel good about being wide awake at that time of day.  There were some plastic eggs hidden throughout the living room and a new bucket for both Kaiya and Candom.  Cam wasn't too interested in egg hunting and Kaiya needed a little prompting since there was no candy in the eggs.   We headed off to church and afterwards home for naps and making food for dinner at Holly's.  She made a delicious roast as well as shrimp salad, we had fresh rolls, fruit salad, and of course...more deviled eggs and leftover birthday cake.  After getting super full...at least the adults, we headed outside for an egg hunt where the kids ate their chocolate candy dinner.  We had fun with the bunny part of Easter, but I am grateful we were able to go to church to learn about the real part of Easter.  I'm grateful for my Savior and for the hope and joy in my heart to know all of these beautiful family relationships can last for the eternities!
Camdon's bucket had a mini basket hoop in it.
Kaiya found a bucket with some princess stuff and an egg full of jelly beans.

Easter egg hunt in front of Hir'ts place.

Cam...not so into the egg hunt...very much into the splashing in the puddles.

Yum...want one?

Happy Grandpa

We didn't set this shot up...they all just took a break to have a sit down.  Of course smiling all at the same time was out of the question.  :0)  there go
