Kaiya's Swim Lessons
Kaiya started swimming lessons a couple weeks ago (thanks to Vicky Shawcroft for telling us and arriving at 6am early to get in line for sign ups). Kaiya was extremely nervous at first and was the only one in the class that threw a fit upon drop off and would not let go of her teacher. It has been amazing, as the mom, to watch her progress in just 5 classes now. At first she couldn't even do the bicycle with her legs. Today she was doing the ducky swim, as their teacher tells them, back and forth and all around the pool all on her own! She was excited to be dropped off and there was no crying. Though she still gets very nervous, she has overcome some fears and has been very courageous to learn her new ducky swim! How fun to be a parent and watch even the simplest of skills develop.

Good for Kaiya! It's hard to do something you're afraid of... I'm proud of her!
Amazing how fast they learn and how much it helps to have confidence in yourself! Our little girl is growing up! Thanks for sharing
