Halloween Party

Tonight was the ward Halloween party.  The costume idea began with Kaiya...it was all about Jessie, Ye Hah!  So how fun to have Cam be Buzz, dad Woody, which of course meant that I had to be his good friend Bo Peep.  I didn't want to spend money on costumes, so I did the best I could to make them.  I couldn't find a Jessie hat, so Kaiya's I did have to buy.  I'm so glad I did because she loves it and she looks adorable.  Just after I had bought the whole costume, Grandma C found the most perfect Jessie hat and sent it up.  (Sooo much better that the plastic one that came with the costume that was bent anyway from getting shipped.)  About 2 hours before the party, I was at the Post Office picking it up...just in the nick of time.  The hat is incredibly cute and perfected her cowgirl outfit.  She even left it on the whole time.  Camdon's Buzz was just fabric I had and I did buy fabric to make the Woody vest and my bonnet.  Vest was sewn last night and the bonnet thrown together today.  Never quite what I had in mind when the end result presents itself, but it was fun to dress up and be together .... Woody/Buzz style!
To Infinity and Beyond!!
I like ropin' and ridin' and yoodlin'...what do you like to do?

Getting down with the pumpkins!

Miss Kaiya, always refusing to get her picture taken.  Cam had a run in with a chocolate treat or 2.

Vrroom....uh Grandma C, he LOVES it!  He did not want to go to bed tonight because he was attached to it!  Excited for morning! ; )

Amanda, I finally found my blogger dashboard connection here and saw your darling family Halloween picture. So cute, all of those type of celebrations seem so far away right now, but it is fun to share in them long distance. Sister Osborn!
