Ahhh One of Those Days!

It was just one of those days that everything seemed simply beautiful.  Kaiya and Camdon both woke up happy to be with each other and their mommy.  Cam was in his jammies all day, but it was okay, they were the cutest jammies that grandma gave him for Christmas.  Molly came over with the girls so that we could motivate each other to work out.  And we did it.  We exercised to "Bob" and he kicked out booties.  Well...so did chasing around 4 kids!  All day I just felt so amazed and blessed with how adorable these little ones are.  How could I be so blessed to have these cute chubs and sparkling big eyes to stare at me?  Outside, the sun was shining bright on our new few inches of snow and it was almost 60 degrees!  I was out with no coat on and just a t-shirt and it felt AMAZING!  I didn't want to ever go back inside.  Luckily, both kids took good naps so Mike and I worked through the order of cabinets that arrived today.  He even let me drive the fork lift (maybe we shouldn't tell grandpa Elbert that) to move 2 pallets and it was very fun and I went very slow!  When the kids woke up headed out to build Kaiya's first snowman!  We were out for over an hour and nobody was too cold.  While running errands later, Camdon was looking at Kaiya in the back seat and just giggling at her with that melt your heart giggle.  Such a very sweet, one of the best sounds in the world moment!  Yep, definitely one of those, Ahhh, I love my kids days!
Chloe was so excited to sit next to Cam Bear and feed him his Bottle.
Look Cam Bear,... the prized Woody doll that talks to you.
Brin Brin didn't feel so great today, but her adorableness didn't know that.
Yeah!  Snow that packs and makes snowballs and snowmen!
Kaiya kept asking for a candy cane for the snowman.  We ended up getting a carrot and the rest of the snowman necessities and that did the trick.  Actually, that's why we had to go inside, she wanted to eat the snowman's nose.  We came in and she gobbled up a big carrot of her own.

My family and our first snowman!  "Once there was a snowman, snowman, snowman, ...tall, tall, tall...In the sun he..." well, we know the rest.  Good luck with 60 degrees tomorrow snowman! :o)

I love this post ~ everything about it! The snowman pictures are great, and I can just hear Camdon's giggling @ Kaiya, and I haven't seen Chloe & Brinley in far too long... This is one of those treasured Mommy days. One of those tender mercies of the Lord days where we get to feel love and sweetness and joy with our roles as Mommies, and we get to spend time working side-by-side with our husbands building our future, and getting to learn or try something new (you should have seen the time I operated the backhoe to set our septic tank!). When all those things fall in to place along with a good workout and such beautiful weather it is definitely a day for feeling truly blessed. Thanks for sharing.

Great post! Your family is awesome and we love you guys! And I realized looking at Cam in those cute jammies that we never got a picture of him and Chase in their matching jams! :( Two whole weeks and I didn't get that one thing done. Aaahhhh....maybe we can pose them for it in May (even though it will be too warm to actually SLEEP in those jammies by then!)
