We enjoyed our first Easter together while having a slumber party with cousin Chase at G-ma Elbert's house. It was a great weekend with Jenna and Wayne in town to celebrate the holiday. Easter morning, Kaiya woke up to eggs spread all over the living room with an Easter basket in the middle of the room. She grabbed the first two eggs she saw and sat down to play with them. With a little coaxing, she made her way to the basket (full of goodies for the whole family to share) and of course the first thing she found was the Reese's peanut butter cups (for mom). She also found a couple plastic trucks for outside play. Once Chase woke up they had fun playing with eggs and trucks together in between their naps all day. We all shared a nice moose roast dinner complete with deviled eggs. What a beautiful April day it has been with the sun shining and the mountains so beautiful!

Happy Easter!

A sleepover? So fun! I love that you had to coax her to get the basket, that's great. Jacob made a bee-line straight for the basket and immediately started opening all the candy. I can't say I'm jealous about the moose roast, but I am jealous you guys got to spend the day together with the Henries! Love you guys!
